Why Online Reputation Management is Needed

googleOnline reputation management has been around for a few years now. It first got popular about 2 years ago when more and more people ended up being listed in consumer reporting sites. Many of those sites are unethical and allow anyone to post anything anonymously and without any proof or the facts. There have been instances where deceased people and small children have turned up on such sites, and the sites refused to remove the information even after it was proven invalid.

Reputation management is the act of controlling your brand on the internet. Do not allow your name or your company name to be hijacked, and used against you. Much of that information is published online by competitors, ex-spouses, or pretty much anyone who wants to retaliate against you for being alive.

We provide a service that ensures your good name in search engines like Google and Yahoo! We remove the bad press from the first page(s) of these search engines, and replace it with positive press. No more defamation coming up when someone googles you. That’s the way it should be.

When you have bad press on the first page of Google, it can cost you a customer; a job; a personal relationship; and so much more. It is vital that you take control of your brand immediately. If that involves hiring professionals like us to assist you, then so be it.

I have just come over from Brandon’s site and it is good to know of your service. I will RT so all my followers and friends on Twitter will know of you. Many are just starting out. Good to know you are here. Hopefully we will not need your service, but with cyberspace being what it is, we are all vulnerable.

I have been on the other side of the coin. Being scammed by marketers who took the money and ran! They just keep on doing it and nothing seems to get done. As I am in Oz and they are based in the US wasn’t much I could do. Much poorer and wiser now. Glad I found the blogging community and some decent generous people who restore my hope for my fledgling online business.

    • Hello Patricia. It is unfortunate that you have been scammed by some unethical companies. There are actual legit consumer reporting companies out there that research pretty well. Unfortunately, the privately owned ones never do any research whatsoever, and innocent people end up defamed online. It would be so simple if things were researched and only verified facts were published, then there would be no need for our services.
